3D Construction Printing

With 3D construction printing, PERI has another innovation in its portfolio to which almost 400 m2 are dedicated at this year's bauma. In the special 3D printing area, visitors can look forward to a live demonstration of 3D concrete printing with the COBOD BOD2. For the printing technology, PERI relies on the COBOD BOD2 gantry printer from the Danish manufacturer and market leader COBOD, in which PERI has already held a stake since 2018. The technology has been continuously developed since the last bauma and the design and technical possibilities of 3D printing have been optimised. For the first time, the 3D printing team will present the extensive service portfolio on its own stand with an open area directly in front of the PERI exhibition hall.

  • 3D Construction Printing - Automation and efficiency
    Automation and efficiency
As an automated and additive manufacturing process, 3D construction printing represents an alternative method of building houses. Using 3D printers, concrete structures can be produced quickly and cost-effectively without formwork - with great design freedom. This makes the process ideally suited for use in residential construction and for the creation of individual prefabricated parts.
  • 3D Construction Printing - High design freedom
    High design freedom
3D construction printing opens up completely new design potential for architects, as individual structures with unprecedented surfaces, shapes and colours can be easily developed and realised. In addition, the use of the COBOD BOD2 also enables the problem-free production of cantilevers and the use of different widths and heights of the print layers.

    Integration of trades
Other trades, such as insulation material or cable ducts, can be integrated easily and quickly, which minimises the coordination effort and increases efficiency on the construction site.
