SKYDECK Panel Slab Formwork

In addition to other slab formwork systems, PERI also presents SKYDECK at bauma 2022. With the new ROBU B formwork plywood for aluminium panels, a more sustainable alternative is now available which convinces with its particularly high durability and long service life.

The application spectrum of the SKYDECK ranges from residential construction to industrial construction with thicker ceilings. The lightweight and easy-to-handle components made of aluminium ensure and ergonomic working. The simple and systematic assembly sequence with only a few slab props makes the forming process particularly efficient. The ingenious drophead system allows early striking and low material requirements. In addition, the powder-coated elements, components made of plastic components and undercut panel edges minimise the cleaning effort. SKYDECK is available with two different formwork panels, the tried-and-tested Finply 9 mm and the modern, and the modern, durable ROBU B.

Resource-saving with a particularly long service life

The new and weather-resistant ROBU B formlining with an easy-to-repair surface and a correspondingly particularly long service life is a further PERI innovation. It represents a sustainable formlining alternative for MAXIMO Wall Formwork and SKYDECK Panel Slab Formwork. ROBU B combines the advantages of a wooden formwork panel with those of a polypropylene panel - the core is made of birch, while the concrete-facing side is made of a very robust polypropylene layer. The UV-resistant panel prevents discolouration on the concrete, is markable and can be repaired directly on site if necessary. Due to the resource-saving use of wood and its durability, it is one of many examples of the sustainability of PERI products.
