VCT VARIOKIT Composite Track

Thanks to the VCT Composite Track, it is possible to construct composite steel bridges with an in-situ concrete carriageway slab without the need for formwork carriage supports. The supports’ problematic block dowel effect is eliminated. In addition, there is no need to seal any penetration holes in the carriageway slab at a later date, which improves the quality of the carriageway slab, On the construction site, you have unobstructed access from above. This speeds up your cycle times enormously, enabling a weekly cycle.

RE-ING-compliant

The requirements of the RE-ING directive with regard to concrete carriageway slab production using a formwork carriage that runs underneath the carriageway are met when the VCT Composite Track is deployed. As a result, no formwork carriage supports or other carriageway penetra- tions are required. The result of this is a high-quality in-situ concrete carriageway slab. Furthermore, VCT offers two mounting options - using either a welded-on tie plate, or a hole in the flange.
