The VARIOKIT pier formwork (VPS) combines two configurations: VARIOKIT Speed Stage (VSS) for the construction of pier caps without shoring from below and VARIOKIT Speed Column (VSC) for the smart construction of bridge columns. The system is based on the VARIOKIT engineering construction kit, which means that almost all project requirements can be met using rentable solutions.

VPS delivers a high performance solution for pier caps, hammerheads and columns within one single system.
Due to its system independent side formwork, VPS enables next day striking as it can be immediately reused the day after concrete placement. This results in saving valuable time and minimising the number of required formwork sets.

The groundbreaking Split-Soffit technique stands as a remarkable feature as it enables rapid deployment. Due to its ability to be split, VSS mfacilitates a faster construction progress.

With the speed stage capable of being fully equipped and lifted in place, and the striking operation executed from the top, site personnel can work safely.

To optimise assembly speed and efficiency, the one-man-handled and self-aligning X-Bolt connections minimise assembly time and labor costs.
VPS is compatible with the free PERI QuickSolve Planner which helps you to easily, rapidly, and digitally plan your bridge.
The Speed Column configuration features swift handling and rapid pouring rates, ensuring a high-quality concrete finish. This is achieved due to VPS panels only leaving sharp joints and a plywood face sheet, which effectively prevents the risk of rust stains on the concrete surface.
